Seyun is currently in her second year of the Bachelor of Education program at Mount Royal University. Her musical background leans toward Classical music, and she has been playing the violin since the age of 9, receiving private lessons up until her last year of high school as she completed RCM Level 10 for practical, history, and theory. Seyun is an active member of the University of Calgary Orchestra and has previously participated in chamber ensembles at her former music institution.

Since the summer of 2022, Seyun has embarked on a teaching journey at a music school in Calgary, where she has had the opportunity to work with a variety of young learners and a few adult students. Playing the violin has brought Seyun immense joy throughout her childhood and continues to do so now. Her primary goal in teaching music is to share the pleasures of learning and playing an instrument with her students.
