Winnie - Violin Teacher in Panorama NW Calgary

Winnie discovered her passion for music at the age of seven and has been studying violin under the mentorship of Nirvana Academy of Violin’s founder and director for many years. Through dedicated training, consistent practice, and a genuine love for music, she has earned her Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Level 8 Certificate (violin and theory), building a strong technical foundation alongside expressive and confident musicianship.

Throughout her musical journey, Winnie has developed extensive performance experience. She is an active member of both the Nirvana Academy Grand Violin Ensemble and the Mount Royal University Orchestra, where she has refined her ensemble skills while performing a wide range of repertoire. She has also appeared as a featured soloist with the Grand Violin Ensemble and has performed at numerous concerts, community events, and festivals, gaining valuable experience on stage from a young age.

Inspired by her love of music, Winnie has naturally expanded her musical interests beyond the violin, studying the flute, piano, and French horn. Exploring multiple instruments has strengthened her understanding of musicianship, ear training, musical interpretation, and collaboration, allowing her to approach music from a well-rounded perspective.
