About Me
We proudly introduce Charles, one of our exceptional violin instructors at Nirvana Academy of Violin.
Charles brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our academy, having graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor of Music Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Music, and a Master of Arts in Music.
In 2014, Charles founded “Ad Lib Music,” a violin teaching initiative that quickly gained a reputation for excellence.
Over the past 12 years, Charles has taught violin to more than 300 students, guiding them on their musical journeys with patience, expertise, and a genuine passion for teaching.
Teaching Approach
Charles’s teaching philosophy is rooted in his extensive experience conducting, performing, and teaching.
He has held prestigious positions as the conductor of several orchestras, including the St. Paul’s College Primary School Junior String Orchestra, Fung Kai Innovative School Orchestra, PLK Tong Nai Kan Junior Secondary College Orchestra, and the Stewards Pooi Kei Primary School Orchestra.
These roles have honed his ability to lead and inspire young musicians, fostering a love for music and a commitment to excellence.
