Marta began her violin lessons at the age of four, growing up in a musical family where her childhood was always filled with music. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance and Master’s degree in Violin Teaching at the Latvian Academy of Music. Marta expanded her knowledge through exchange programs in Milan, Italy, and Aveiro, Portugal. She enjoys exploring different techniques and incorporating insights from each of her teachers. Marta completed Suzuki teacher training Level 1 in Belgium under Koen Rens and is currently continuing with Level 2 and RCM studies.
Teaching experience
Marta believes that every child can play the violin. She is grateful for the wonderful teachers in her life and aims to be as excellent a teacher as they were. Marta has developed extensive teaching skills working with students from beginner to university levels over the past 8 years of her teaching experience.
