Denis began his musical journey as part of the renowned fiddle supergroup Barrage and has become a seasoned professional.
He has lent his extraordinary skills to artists such as Jann Arden, Jim Cuddy, Shania Twain, Gord Bamford, George Canyon, Tom Jackson, Monday Night Football, and GhostBoy.
Teaching Approach
Since 1998, Denis has been sharing his expertise by teaching violin and fiddle locally in Calgary and globally.
His teaching approach incorporates a blend of the RCM and Suzuki methods, providing a well-rounded education that caters to each student’s unique needs and goals.
Denis has also provided coaching for esteemed groups like the Bow Valley and Calgary Fiddlers, demonstrating his commitment to fostering the next generation of musicians.
