About Seyun
Seyun, one of our talented violin instructors at Nirvana Academy of Violin, brings a unique blend of educational expertise from her second year of the Bachelor of Education program at Mount Royal University and musical talent rooted in Classical music.
She has been playing the violin since she was nine, and her dedication to the instrument is evident in her achievements.
By the end of high school, she had completed RCM Level 10 for practical, history, and theory.
Her primary goal in teaching music is to make learning enjoyable and rewarding.
Seyun believes that the pleasure of learning and playing an instrument can enrich the lives of her students, fostering a lifelong love for music.
performance and Teaching Experience
Seyun is an active member of the University of Calgary Orchestra, where she continues to refine her skills and perform at a high level.
Her experience also includes participating in chamber ensembles at her former music institution, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of ensemble performance.
Since the summer of 2022, Seyun has embarked on a teaching journey at a music school in Calgary, working with a diverse group of young learners and a few adult students.
