If you see that you or your child gets bored of taking violin lessons and doesn’t want to continue anymore, don’t be surprised. It’s normal for someone who only takes private lessons once a week and does nothing else with the violin to get bored. It is very important for students to have interactions with each other because it’s only through group performances that students improve faster while they enjoy playing. When students play together, they can follow up on each others’ progress, they get more motivated and inspired, they develop stronger ear, they learn how to synchronize and follow each other.
At Nirvana Academy of Violin, not only we provide group classes, orchestra sessions, and 2 very elaborated and sophisticated recitals per year, we also provide other performance opportunities for our advanced students by assigning them to paid gigs that are being requested from other organizations such as theatres, churches, weddings, corporations, etc. We also make sure that our adult students at any level receive as much attention as our younger students do by encouraging them to perform with each other in a group format or to join the orchestra if their level fit.
